To Angie, Samantha, Sabrina and family and friends,
Officer Nelson is sorely missed by all of us here at the Police Department. Our lives were touched by Roy in so many special ways. When Roy would come to the station, Caesar would patiently sit next to Roy while he was working on the computer. Anyone could see that they had a special bond. I am so sad that such a good person's life was cut short, but he made a difference with the time he had. I am just one of many people whose lives were touched by Roy. I will treasure the fond memories I have of him. I am also saddened that his loyal companion
and partner, Caesar, also died.

I am Debbie's son. I met you at the wake and i am very sorry for your loss. I cant even imagine how many emothions you must be feeling. I will pray for you and your family in this time of sadness. I had the pleasure of meeting Roy a few times and he was a great man. When i lost my grandfather I told myself " at least I had him with me for the time i did". May God watch over your family. Once again, I am very sorry for your loss. Your husband/father has and will inspire so many people. I know he inspired me.
